I was never much of a partygoer. When all of my friends were off getting smashed in college, there I was, Mr. Serious, working away on my state-of-the art IBM 386 word processing laptop. That’s, ahem, 386 KILObytes, my friends. We’re talking dozens of bytes! When I finally did show up to a fete of some kind, it seemed suspicious.

Blogging as background buzz

When Blogging became a thing and there developed words in the English lexicon like “Blogosphere,” I ignored the phenomenon. I didn’t even read or subscribe to the blogging madness. I figured “why?” There’s a plethora of bad writing already published, why read yet more drivel? And what could I possibly have to say that other people would want to read?

So here I am a good way into my Voice Over journey, which I will also write about. But I’m starting off the old-fashioned way. And no doubt, Google will have found a way to ignore writing in favor of video content by then, but we’ll see. For now, here’s the first post. I’ll have something more useful to say next time.
